As the holiday season approached, LeadHers was delighted to organize an event around Hélène Baudrand, one of France’s leading colorimetry experts. Colorimetry is a discipline focused on identifying the most harmonious colors for each individual, based on their skin tone, eye color, and hair color.
The concept is rooted in the idea that everyone has a natural harmony, from which a flattering color palette can be defined. Beyond aesthetics, choosing the right colors can brighten the face, reinforce the image one wishes to project, and simplify choices in clothing, accessories, or makeup.
During this evening, Hélène presented the core principles of colorimetry, including the four seasonal typologies (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter), and demonstrated how these tools can be used to shape a personal or professional image. The workshop included a demonstration of the draping method, which helps identify the most flattering shades for each profile.
