As the November 3, 2026 midterm elections approach, the United States finds itself at a pivotal moment. Between economic concerns and declining presidential approval ratings for Donald Trump, the vote could reshuffle the political landscape in Washington.
To help us unpack the key issues at stake in this decisive election, we were delighted to welcome Amy Greene, a Franco‑American political scientist and a recognized expert on the United States and transatlantic dynamics.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Sciences Po Paris, and American University, Amy Greene analyzes how societal transformations in the U.S. shape domestic politics, foreign policy, and relations between France, the EU, and the United States.
A senior fellow at the Institut Montaigne, she advises leaders and organizations in Europe and the U.S. on American political and geopolitical issues. She teaches at Sciences Po Paris and Boston University and is a regular contributor to French and international media.
She is the author of L’Amérique après Obama (2012) and L’Amérique face à ses fractures (2024), as well as numerous analyses published in journals and specialized media.
