Master’s student in Economic Law, Sciences Po

Originally from Sicily, Aurora holds a Dual Bachelor’s Degree from Sciences Po Paris and University College London. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Economic Law. She worked in transitional justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina; her philosophy dissertation on “Genocide Denial and Justification of Free Speech Restrictions” was awarded and published by The Global Undergraduate Awards; Aurora further co- founded the Next Chapter Project as part of the UN Millennium Fellowship Class 2021, promoting intercultural dialogue in Palermo and London. In 2022, she represented Italy as a young female leader in Toronto at the Fora Global Summit promoting gender equality along with delegates from 25 countries, and drafted recommendations for the Commission of the Status of Women. Aurora is currently interning at the law firm Allen & Overy in the department of white-collar crime. Thanks to the Allen & Overy Excellence Scholarship, she has founded Legal Change, a project that fosters diversity and inclusion in the legal field.
