Mentored by Aurélie Tan, CFO at La Française de l’Energie

Ilona is pursuing a master’s in Public Policy at Sciences Po, Paris with an emphasis on gender equality. Last summer, she took part in a ten-day Erasmus+ programme focused on learning self-entrepreneurship skills in Hollókő near Budapest.  After completing her master’s Ilona hopes to study engineering with a double degree with ISAE-SUPAERO. By focusing on engineering and public policy, Ilona plans to pursue industrial projects and research programmes in the field of energy, focusing on the energy efficiency of aircraft and the decarbonisation of fuel.

Ilona is grateful to have had Aurelie as a mentor, especially for the advice she gave her on how to build self-confidence and improve her public speaking skills. Aurelie was the first professional, outside of her family, with whom Ilona spoke in depth about her career ambitions and plans.
