Dorothée Gilbert is a French danseuse étoile who has captivated audiences around the world with her grace, artistry, and dedication to the craft of ballet. Born in the south of France, Dorothée showed an early aptitude for dance and began training at the age of six.

Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, including injuries and fierce competition, she never lost her passion for ballet and continued to pursue her dream of becoming a professional ballerina.Through hard work and determination, she was eventually accepted into the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School, where she trained under some of the greatest ballet teachers in the world. Dorothée’s talent and hard work was eventually recognized, and at the age of 24 she was promoted to the rank of étoile, the highest honor for a dancer in the Paris Opera Ballet.

In addition to her impressive stage career, Dorothée has been a strong advocate for arts education and worked with organizations to bring ballet to underprivileged communities. Her dedication to the art form and her commitment to giving back has inspired countless young dancers to pursue their own dreams.

Today, Dorothée continues to dance with the Paris Opera Ballet and remains one of the most sought-after ballerinas in the world.
