Hélène Darroze is a celebrated French chef and the second most awarded female chef in the world. Coming from a family of restaurateurs, she proudly represents the fourth generation to carry on this culinary tradition. After studying at ESC Bordeaux, she worked alongside Alain Ducasse at Louis XV in Monaco, where she discovered her true passion for cooking. In 1995, she took over the family restaurant “Chez Darroze” before opening her own establishment in Paris.
Today, Hélène Darroze, thanks to her energy and unwavering determination, boasts six Michelin stars: two in Paris (Marsan), three in London (The Connaught), and one at Villa La Coste. In 2015, she was named “Best Female Chef in the World” by the 50 Best ranking. She is also a familiar face and voice to the public, thanks to her regular appearances on the TV show “Top Chef” on M6.
Beyond her career, Hélène Darroze is actively involved in charitable work. She supports the association “La Bonne Étoile,” which aims to help underprivileged children in Vietnam. She also actively participates in training programs for young chefs, sharing her expertise and experience.
