Deputy Prosecutor in charge of cybercrime at the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office
10 February 2026, at Le Fouquet’s, Paris
In the course of her duties, Johanna Brousse, Deputy Prosecutor in charge of cybercrime at the Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office, known as J3, initiated the arrest warrant against the co-founder of Telegram, the encrypted messaging service, and is firmly committed to combating the ever more inventive hackers of the digital age. She is also investigating X, Elon Musk’s social network suspected of algorithm trafficking, as well as Pegasus, the Israeli spyware that infiltrated thousands of phones, including that of French President Emmanuel Macron.
While the digital revolution simplifies our daily lives, it also exposes companies to growing cyber threats, particularly ransomware. Too often, businesses underestimate the real risks of the web, even though an attack can have physical, financial, and legal consequences. Systems, software, information, and data are prime targets for cybercriminals.
Executives, as the primary guardians of data integrity, must ensure the security of employees, clients, and partners. Protecting data means protecting the company as a whole.
A deeper understanding of geopolitical issues and stronger mastery of cybersecurity make it possible to anticipate attacks. That is why Johanna shared her expertise with us, helping to better prevent and counter these threats.
