LUCIE CHICAUD

Lucie Chicaud holds an engineering degree from École polytechnique and a Master of Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco (UCSF). Her path has been driven by a passion for healthcare and a desire to create meaningful impact.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has developed a unique perspective at the intersection of science, innovation, and strategy through experiences in both Europe and the United States. She conducted research in biomedical engineering and translational medicine at institutions including Columbia University, the Institut Cochin, and the École normale supérieure. She also gained industry experience at Arkema, contributing to strategic innovation projects. Most recently, at UCSF, she worked on the development and commercialization strategy of an innovative cancer therapy, collaborating with researchers, clinicians, engineers, and investors.

Her career ambition is build a career in the biotech industry to lead innovation initiatives that improve healthcare outcomes, with a particular focus on women’s health.

Through the LeadHers Talent program, Lucie hopes to learn from inspiring women leaders as she enters a pivotal stage of her career. She is eager to gain perspective on navigating key professional decisions, developing her leadership potential, and building a career that combines innovation, impact, and purpose.
