Clémence Mauchamp

FOUNDER AND COPRESIDENT

Clémence built the majority of her 20-year career in finance at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, where she served as Managing Director, leading the bank’s debt business for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.

During her years in the banking industry, Clémence realized that mentors were essential for achieving professional goals. This inspired her to establish her own initiative to empower younger women at the start of their careers by connecting them with mentors. Thus, in 2018, the LeadHers journey began.

Clémence holds a Master of Science in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. With experience living, working, and studying in Switzerland, London, the USA, Madrid, and Paris, her extensive international background is crucial for identifying influential partners worldwide, shaping LeadHers into a global organisation.

She became the first woman to join the Board of Directors of the Professional Football League in July 2013 and was elected president in November 2016 for a four-year term.

She sits on several boards simultaneously (RC Lens, FondaCtion du Football, Spartner) and serves as a Senior Advisor to the TRAIL/SLAM fund (Sport, Luxury, Art, Music).

Married and the mother of two sons, she understands firsthand the challenges women face while navigating demanding professional careers alongside a balanced personal life.
